The stub Mother is for a link tothe genetic mother of the individual. When the gestational mother differs from the egg-donor mother there can be two Mother stubs, the gestational mother can be identified with the subordinate Gestational. While questions of maternity are generally rarer than paternity issues, some have been known since the days of Solomon and infant kidnaping, occasionally by Caesarian, come to light even today. Some such schemes may have succeeded. So some of the descriptive stubs in the Father (q.v.) article may be applicable in some circumstances.
A female who assumes a parental role, when not the genetic or gestational Mother is a Parent. There may be as many Parent as necessary.
