  1. Find-a-Grave Showing a marker at West Nottingham Meeting House Cemetery, Polk Cemetery (and the original stone presumably) being destroyed. It is not clear to me whether the remains were relocated. From the DAR marker:
Patrick Ewing (1737-1819) served in the Revolutionary War as Assistant Commissary of Purchases in Cecil County, Maryland. Served in Maryland Provincial Convention and as a Justice of the Peace from Cecil County, Maryland. Buried at Polk Cemetery near Rising Sun, Maryland. Polk Cemetery destroyed.
Marker placed by EWING Descendants, members of Alaska Chapter and Col. John Mitchell Chapter, Alaska Society, NSDAR, CAR and SAR and Charity Stille Langstaff Chapter, Missouri Society NSDAR. Erected October 1998 at the Ewing Plot at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cecil County, Maryland.
